EVENT GUIDELINES AND PROCESS

As a result of the COVID19 pandemic we are taking care to make sure everyone who attends our events and services are safe. You will see a list of guidelines below to help you prepare for your time with us. Please read our full risk assessment for our building and church life. If you have further questions not answered below, please get in touch: [email protected]

TICKETS

You no longer need to book in advance for this service, but if you are new and would like to let us know you are coming, please fill in our newcomers form.

QUEUING & ARRIVAL

Please arrive 15 minutes before the service begins. Please be mindful of others as you arrive and ask the stewards if you need any help at all. You will be provided hand sanitiser before entering the building.

EXIT

At the end, the hosts will give instructions on how to exit the building. You will be encouraged to chat outside in the garden area if the weather is good.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

Whilst social distancing is no longer required we ask you to remain cautious on your proximity to those outside of your household.

MASKS

Masks are no longer mandatory, but we kindly ask that you wear masks throughout the time in our building and especially during times of singing. We will have some spare if you forget yours.

REFRESHMENTS & HYGIENE

For the time being, there will be no refreshments available but we hope to be introducing this in the weeks to come.

WORSHIP, SINGING & PRAYER

To prevent transmission we ask that you wear a mask during times of congregational singing.

CHILDREN, YOUTH & FAMILIES

Our service has Lighthouse Kids running in the Main Hall next door to the church for young people aged 2-10 and sessions will be run by our brilliant kids team. SOLAR will be running upstairs for young people aged 11-14. All young people will head out after being in the main service for the the first few songs.

For those with babies and toddlers under 2 we have created a space at the back of the church where parents can sit more freely with their children although they will need to take care that they stay with them at all times.

COVID-19 SYMPTOMS

If you are experiencing any symptoms of coronavirus (a high temperature, a new continuous cough or loss or change to your sense of smell or taste) then you must not attend this event. Please go to NHS.uk for the latest advice or click here.

VULNERABLE & SHIELDING

If you are especially vulnerable with an underlying health condition we would encourage you to stay home for these services. The services will be streamed online and we would love for you to take part by watching from home. We would strongly encourage you to make sure you get your vaccinations as soon as possible.
