EVERY SUNDAY IN-PERSON SERVICES
Sunday LIVE is helping us to return to in-person services. These services have limited seating which must be pre-booked in advance so we can adhere to social distancing guidelines.
Please note: tickets are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
This service includes times of sung worship, testimonies, a Bible-based talk and prayer ministry. There’s lots of time given to connect with the whole church family too. Please note that over August our usual kids and youth groups are not available and some kids packs will be on offer for families instead.
You must book a seat for to attend this service for any of the available weeks below.
You will only be able to attend this service by registering your place in advance. There is limited space and seating due to social distancing regulations and the tickets will be given on a first come first served basis.
QUEUING & ARRIVAL
Please arrive 15 minutes before the service begins as we will need to stagger entry times. You will need to queue in a socially distanced fashion outside until the welcome team call you in.
After checking your ticket on the register, you will be provided hand sanitiser before entering the building.
At the end, the hosts will give instructions on how to exit the building. You will be encouraged to chat outside in the garden area or in groups of 6 or less indoors.
Social distancing will be in operation at these services which means no handshakes, hugging or physical contact. You will be seated in separate households with spare seats between you and your neighbours.
We kindly ask that you wear masks throughout the time in our building. We will have some spare if you forget yours. For more information on government guidelines around face coverings please click here.
REFRESHMENTS & HYGIENE
For the time being, there will be no refreshments available so please make sure to bring a water bottle and take it home with you after the service. Please do not bring any food to this event for hygiene reasons. We will ensure our spaces are regularly cleaned and surfaces wiped down.
WORSHIP, SINGING & PRAYER
To prevent transmission we will have normal congregational singing or out-loud prayer from the floor. Instead you will be encouraged to worship in the quietness of your heart as we seek God’s presence together.
We will have a small team leading the songs from the stage, behind a protective shield as well as using pre-recorded material on the screens. We are aiming to make this time as creative and engaging as possible.
CHILDREN, YOUTH & FAMILIES
Our service has Lighthouse Kids running in the Main Hall next door to the church for young people aged 2-11 and sessions will be run in a covid-secure way by the team. SOLAR will be running upstairs for young people aged 11-16. All young people will head out after being in the main service for the the first few songs.
For those with babies and toddlers under 2 we have created a space at the back of the church where parents can sit more freely with their children although they will need to take care that they stay with them at all times. No toys are provided, so please bring what you need.
If you are experiencing any symptoms of coronavirus (a high temperature, a new continuous cough or loss or change to your sense of smell or taste) then you must not attend this event. Please go to NHS.uk for the latest advice or click here.
VULNERABLE & SHIELDING
If you are especially vulnerable with an underlying health condition, over the age of 70 or have been shielding, we would encourage you to stay home for these services. The services will be streamed online and we would love for you to take part by watching from home. We would strongly encourage you to make sure you get your vaccinations as soon as possible. As much as we want you to join us, we do not want to take any unnecessary risks. Please click here to see those who may be at risk.
