Sunday LIVE is helping us to return to in-person services. These services have limited seating which must be pre-booked in advance so we can adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Please note: tickets are available on a first-come-first-served basis.

This service includes times of worship, testimonies, a Bible-based talk and prayer. At this service we have Lighthouse Kids (groups for 2-11 year olds) running in our next door building, so this is the best service for young families (will restart later in April).

This service includes times of worship, testimonies, a Bible-based talk and prayer. At this service we have SOLAR (group for 11-16 year olds) running in our next door building with sessions involving games and space to get creative. Lighthouse Kids is not available at this service. Most students attend this service and often gather afterwards (in groups of six or less) for time to catch up and grab lunch/coffee in the city centre.

Each service will run for 1 hour. You can book a seat for any of the services at any of the available Sundays below.

Please read our full risk assessment for our building and church life. If you have further questions not answered below, please get in touch: [email protected]

You will only be able to attend these services by registering your place in advance. There is limited space and seating due to social distancing regulations and the tickets will be given on a first come first served basis.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the service begins as we will need to stagger entry times. You will need to queue in a socially distanced fashion outside until the welcome team call you in.

After checking your ticket on the register, you will be temperature checked (via a contact free thermometer) and provided hand sanitiser before entering the building. The welcome team will be wearing visors and gloves to minimise the risk of transmission.

At the end, the hosts will give instructions on how to exit the building. Please remember that groups should not socialise inside or outside the grounds in numbers larger than 6 people.

Social distancing will be in operation at these services which means no handshakes, hugging or physical contact. Seats will be set 2 metres apart. There will be arrows on the floor to indicate any walking through the building. The Rule of 6 is also now in place which means keeping to group sizes less than 6.

We strongly advise that anyone attending these services wears a face covering. We will have some spare if you forget yours. Children under the age of 11 do not need to wear a mask. For more information on government guidelines around face coverings please click here.

There will be no refreshments available so please make sure to bring a water bottle and take it home with you after the service. Please do not bring any food to this event for hygiene reasons. All chairs, toilets and surfaces will be wiped down before and after the event.

To prevent transmission we will not be able to have normal congregational singing or out-loud prayer from the floor. Instead you will be encouraged to worship in the quietness of your heart as we seek God’s presence together.

We will have one person leading the songs and prayers from the stage, behind a protective shield as well as using pre-recorded material on the screens. We are aiming to make this time as creative and engaging as possible.

Our 10.00am service has Lighthouse Kids running in the Main Hall next door to the church for young people aged 2-11 and sessions will be run in a covid-secure way by the team. Our 11.30am service has SOLAR running upstairs for young people aged 12-16. Lighthouse Kids is not available at the 11.30am service.

For those with babies and toddlers under 2 we have created a space at the back of the church where parents can sit more freely with their children although they will need to take care that they stay with them at all times. No toys are provided, so please bring what you need.

If you are experiencing any symptoms of coronavirus (a high temperature, a new continuous cough or loss or change to your sense of smell or taste) then you must not attend this event. Please go to NHS.uk for the latest advice or click here.

If you are especially vulnerable with an underlying health condition, over the age of 70 or have been shielding, we would encourage you to stay home for these services. The services will be streamed online and we would love for you to take part by watching from home. As much as we want you to join us, we do not want to take any unnecessary risks. Please click here to see those who may be at risk.

By registering for these services you agree to us sharing your details with NHS Test and Trace in the event of on outbreak.
